Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Associate Attorney to join our Family Law team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in divorce and family law, with the ability to manage cases from start to finish. This role requires professionalism, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of family law cases, including divorce, child custody, child support, alimony, property division, and family law appeals.
- Handle a caseload with minimal supervision.
- Draft and review legal documents such as pleadings, motions, discovery, and settlement agreements.
- Represent clients in court hearings, trials, mediations, and depositions.
- Advise clients on their options and potential outcomes.
- Maintain regular communication with clients to keep them informed of case progress.
- Mentor associates and legal staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
We are hiring: Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Licensed to practice law in Nevada.
- 5+ years of experience in family law with a focus on divorce cases.
- Proven track record of successfully handling cases.
- Proficiency in both Spanish and English is highly preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to advocate for clients’ interests.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.
